Denmark vs. Wales

Parken - Copenhagen - UEFA Nations League

Match

⟸⚽ 53' Ben Davies (OG)
⟸⚽ 66' Gustav Isaksen

Match attendance: 34,588 (new LB record!)

Summary

A comfortable win for Denmark. I was hoping to see more fight from Wales, but it was a rather flat performance. Denmark controlled most of the game and could easily have been a couple of goals up by half-time. Isaksen was very unfortunate to have a lovely volley ruled out by VAR. Wales' best period came at the end of the first-half when they had a couple of good chances. Despite a few changes in the second-half, Wales were unable to get a foot-hold in the match. They have not won any of their last 6 matches. Denmark will be happy with 3 points after losing to Norway in their last match.

Ground

Parken is a great football stadium, with steep stands on each side (and a retractable roof). It had the feeling of a classic Premier League ground from the 1990's both in style and size (apart from the many executive boxes on one of the short ends). The only slight negative is that the 'office blocks' in each corner partially block the view of the adjacent stands.
With regards to the aesthetic outside of the stadium, it could easily be mistaken for an office building if it wasn't for the stands protruding outwards slightly at the top.
